An Ayden middle school student will be charged with assault after the student stuck five classmates with a lancet used to prick a finger to
check diabetic levels.  According to the Ayden Police Department, a sixth grader found a diabetes Iancet and that is when he decided to poke the five classmates.

The students were taken to the hospital by their parents. Due to the student-age, they will be charged as a juvenile. Police also said the student may be charged with assault.
