On Friday Feb 21st, I had the pleasure to go out to speak to the guys at Carteret Correctional Center for their Black History Month program put together by my homegirl, Ms. Lacante Coates. It was a great opportunity to share my story, let these guys know that this isn’t the end of the road for them & that they can do anything they wanna do with a positive mindset & hard work once they get on the other side of those walls. I honestly coulda sat & talked with those guys all day. I’m looking forward to doing it again in the near future!
