The Supreme Court has just passed a federal law that protects the LGBTQ+ community.

The new law now applies sexual orientation and gender discrimination to the Civil Rights Act that was passed in 1964 banning discrimination based off race, sex and national origin, which will protect the LGBTQ+ community from workplace discrimination.

Firing or not employing someone based off of the sexual orientation or gender identity is now considered sex discrimination’s which will now protect gay and transgender people.
