It looks like one of the officers involved in the George Floyd case is now out on bond.
The family of Thomas Lane, the rookie ex-cop, collected donations for his legal defense on a website they set up. It seems they were able to raise a decent amount of money being that he posted his $750,000 bail.
Lane and 2 other former cops are charged with aiding and abetting 2nd-degree murder, and aiding and abetting 2nd-degree manslaughter. If convicted, Lane is looking at a maximum of 40 years in prison.
