Wendy Williams, 57, is still dealing with health issues and has had to postpone her show for the third time.
According to Yahoo, Wendy will not be returning to record new episodes of The Wendy Show. Wendy is “experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ disease and her thyroid condition,” per a statement posted to the show’s Instagram account on Tuesday. “It has been determined that more time is needed before she is able to return to her live hosting duties.”
Instead, a series of guest hosts and panels will take Williams’ place when the show returns on October 18.
“The Wendy Williams Show will start airing originals on Monday, October 18, with an exciting lineup of guest hosts and panels to be announced shortly.” The statement went on to briefly speak on the health issues Wendy is dealing with.
“Wendy continues to be under medical supervision and meets with her medical team on a daily basis. She is making progress but is experiencing serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ Disease and her thyroid condition. It has been determined that more time is needed before she is able to return to her live hosting duties.”
