Super Bowl Sunday will going down in Atlanta in just a few days. Leading up to the festivities comes media day for the NFL! The league Commissioner, Roger Goodell spoke to the media today with a Q&A.
During the conference Commissioner Roger Goodall was asked if the NFL worried about people not wanting to be apart of them and what they do. From artists not wanting to perform at the halftime show to fans petitioning for artists not to perform. Reporters called it the Colin Kaepernick affect, basically people taking sides. Roger said they understand they have a big pool of fans but he feels more respect what they are doing, and still support. Adding that the diversity of the crowd as people start coming in town is showing that as well.
He was also asked if he was worried about how the NFL’s reaction to Colin Keapernick will be perceived in the future as a part of history. Watch below to see his answer.
