Kenya Moore is not a first-time mom. She gave birth to her daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly at 9:39 a.m. ET on Sunday, November 4. Her baby girl weighs 5lbs. and 12 oz. This is the first child for Kenya and her husband Marc Daly, who gave their daughter a name that holds special meaning.

Kenya told PEOPLE magazine, “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed last year and who raised me.”

Sources close to Kenya say she is doing well and “Brooklyn is very alert and active.” Earlier in the week, Kenya revealed that she would have to give birth via emergency cesarean section after being diagnosed with preeclampsia.
