Chance the Rapper and Lyft have partnered with one another to raise money for Chicago public schools. Chance has a youth empowerment group called Social Works and collaborating with Lyft will be able to raise funds for the school system.
If you wanted to make a donation to the cause you can do by using Lyft’s “Round-Up” program at end of your ride through the app. Chance made an announcement via Twitter and he will be matching all donations through the month of September.
Last year Chance donated $2.2 million to Chicago Public Schools. Chance’s donation was a part of his promise he made to “begin investing dollars and material resources into Chicago Public Schools.”
