Meek Mill has been released on bail while his case is reviewed, but he tells NBC that he does feel free. He says he is still fighting for men who are dealing with the same issues as him: being wrongly incarcerated.
In Meek Mill’s case, the arresting officer was recently found to be dirty, leading Meek’s legal team believe the case should be thrown out, but Judge Genece Brinkley refused to release Meek. She simply allowed him to have another court date to look further into the original case. This week, the Supreme Court overruled Judge Brinkley, and allowed Meek to be released while his case is reviewed.
He is expected back in court in June.
