Fox News is Done with Bill O’Reilly
Looks like Fox News has decided to let Bill O'Reilly go after the sexual harassment allegations and settlements came out. The controversial prime-time host has been forced out and now the decision must be made on if he should sign off of his own and if the relationship between him and the network can still be saved.
Originally, Fox News said they stood by O'Reilly as he dealt with the allegations, and even helped him pay off 5 women with a total of $13 million. Since the news broke, more than 50 advertisers have dropped from the show and feminist are totally against his still being there, inside and out of the company. Even as the negative news rolled in, the company extended O'Reilly's contract, but it looks like that has now changed.
“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,” 21st Century Fox, Fox News’s parent company, said in a statement.
The question now, who will replace Mr. Bill O'Reilly?
